This guide walks you through how to customize access levels according to job functions, ensuring secure, compliant, and streamlined operations in your home health, home care, or hospice agency.

Accessing the User Management Section

To begin managing roles, navigate to the User Management section in the system settings. Here, you can create new roles, modify existing ones, or deactivate roles no longer needed.

Creating and Modifying User Roles

When creating or editing a role, assign specific permissions tailored to the job responsibilities. Permissions include access to view, edit, or approve clinical records, billing tasks, and compliance activities. Customize roles to allow users only the necessary access, minimizing unauthorized data exposure and supporting HIPAA compliance.

Select “Create New Role,” enter the role name, and define the description to reflect the job function.
